The South Australian public sector is one of the most diverse workforces in the state, comprised of key government departments and numerous agencies. They are also the largest employer in the state - employing more than 100,000 people from a range of backgrounds and vocations, from entry level to mid-career and leadership professionals as well as graduates, apprentices and trainees. The contribution made can be seen every day, in our schools and hospitals, our environment and the justice system, emergency services and public transport.

For students who are interested in a career with the South Australian government across it's many areas, you are invited to come along and meet staff and recruiters at this years Careers Expo 2019.

Careers Expo 2019 is held on both Thursday 21 and Friday 22 March 2019 and below is a breakdown of which Departments with be represented on either day:

Day 1, Thursday 22-March 2019

  • Department of the Premier and Cabinet (Cyber Security area) (DPC)
  • Attorney General’s Department (Public Safety Solutions area) (AGD)
  • Department of Energy and Mining (DEM)

Day 2, Friday 21-March 2019

  • Department of Industry and Skills (DIS)
  • Department of Human Services (DHS)
  • Department of the Premier and Cabinet (Cyber Security area) (DPC)

  • Auditor-General's Department
  • SA Police
