Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Education Foundation of SA Scholarship

This Scholarship has been established by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Education Foundation of SA and is open to students who are Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Applicants must be undertaking their second year of the Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) or Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Adelaide. Applicants must be undertaking study on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student.

The Scholarship will provide the sum of $3,000 per year for two years, subject to the student maintaining satisfactory academic progress and demonstrating continuing financial need. The recipient will also receive honorary membership of the Royal Show Society of South Australia for two years.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, eg details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.

Selection of the successful applicant will be based on financial need and academic merit.
