Apply now for more than 60 university scholarships the Playford Trust and its partners are offering for 2023.

The Playford Memorial Trust supports high-achieving South Australian students working in areas of strategic importance to the State.

This year, the Trust and its partners across industry, government, the education sector and the community will provide more than $700,000 in scholarships, internships and awards to university undergraduates, Honours, Masters and PhD students, as well as to students at varying levels of TAFE.

Playford Trust scholarships and awards aim to help students make the most of their studies, achieve their potential and contribute to South Australia’s knowledge, skills and research base.

This years priority areas include:

  • Advanced manufacturing and new technologies
  • Water, energy and climate change
  • Agriculture, aquaculture and food production
  • Space and defence technologies
  • Health sciences and enabling technologies
  • Mining and resource development

Applications will close on Friday 20 January for all scholarships except the Andy Thomas Space Foundation scholarships which will now close on Wednesday 21 December – two days after the SACE results are released.
