As a graduate of a Bachelor of International Studies and with a background also in Law, Sarah is kicking goals this Summer!

At the end of the 2017, she applied to the Prime Minister and Cabinet's Vacation Employment Program for their 10 week internship with the Office for Women. With a strong interest in gender equity, this was a dream opportunity to compliment her Honours research project in International Relations and her Graduate Diploma in Gender and Development.

Sarah describes her PM&C's Vacation Employment Program experience so far as requiring both specialist and generalist skills, but above all one in which she has been able to utilise her strong analytical and methodological research skills. She believes the skills she gained through her Honours degree are not only relevant, but incredibly beneficial to a career as a policy analyst in the APS!

Check out more details about the PM&C here and also keep an eye out for when the PM&C visit campus in 2018 to ask all of your questions!
